A. J. Tower Slicker
This cowboy slicker was produced by the A. J. Tower Company of Boston. Developed around 1881, these waterproof coats were designed to keep cowboys as dry as possible while working out in the elements. Our slicker was temporarily displayed at the Nebraska State Historical Society exhibit in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Colt .45 Peacemaker
This 1893 six shooter was made with Mother of Pearl grips. This is among more than two dozen firearms on display including an 1881 Marlin Rifle and the legendary Winchester '73.

J. S. Collins Saddle
In 1882, John S. Collins created a saddle that was to become a staple on the Great Plains. These were a status symbol among cowboys. The most enthusiastic user of Collins' saddles was "Buffalo Bill" himself! He equipped himself and his cowboys with these saddles in his 1883 Wild West Show.

Original Stetson
This particular hat dates from the 1870's. Only two others of this vintage are known to exist. This was the most popular style of cowboy hat sold between 1870 and the early 1900's. It is known as the "Boss of the Plains".
